Walkthrough & Notes

This quest counts for the Aiding the Norcrofts deed. Completing Aiding the Eastemnet will cancel this quest This is an instanced public questing area. Collect the Vases located throughout the instance, mainly on the northern half. Right click to interact to 'pick up' the vase and collect 4 vases to complete this quest. You can leave the instance by returning to the entrance portal or using the 'Leave Instance' feature by right clicking on the character portrait. Be aware of the gap in the bridge to the left side (west) as dropping down from it will result in defeat (the character will respawn at the instance entrance). Also be aware that the mobs are located both above and below the ground level when moving about.

Bestowal dialogue 'The Orcs often come at night, marching through the farms and coming right up to the edge of town before we even know that they are out there. It has become a large problem, and we have lost many from surprise attacks. 'We need pitch. With it, we can coat our arrows and set them ablaze, lighting the night sky and revealing our enemies. Sâd Torech, a former town of Gondor, has many vases filled with pitch. Bring some back for us.' Background Pitch is used to waterproof boats and coat arrows so they will burn. Objective 1 Collect vases from Sâd Torech (0/4) Vases can be found in Sâd Torech. Aldbéort has asked you to collect pitch-filled vases from Sâd Torech. Aldbéort: 'Let me know when you are ready to venture to Sâd Torech' Enter the Public Instance: Sâd Torech Objective 2 Talk to Aldbéort Aldbéort is at Cliving. Aldbéort will be pleased to receive the pitch-filled vases. Aldbéort: 'Very good. We are not making many boats these days, but the Orcs do not like when our arrows burn.'
